Safety Supervisor

A Safety Supervisor ensures a safe working environment by implementing safety protocols, monitoring compliance, and addressing potential hazards. They play a critical role in minimizing risks and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

  • Enforce safety policies, procedures, and standards on-site.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Monitor workplace activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Maintain safety records and prepare compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with management to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
  • Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certifications preferred.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in safety supervision, preferably in Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, IS).
    • Proficiency in hazard identification and risk mitigation.
    • Good communication and leadership skills to guide teams on safety practices.
