Safety Supervisor

A Safety Supervisor ensures a safe working environment by implementing safety protocols, monitoring compliance, and addressing potential hazards. They play a critical role in minimizing risks and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Enforce safety policies, procedures, and standards on-site.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
Monitor workplace activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Investigate accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.
Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
Maintain safety records and prepare compliance reports.
Coordinate with management to promote a culture of safety across the organization.

Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related fields.
Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety certifications preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years in safety supervision, preferably in Oil & Gas sectors.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, IS).
- Proficiency in hazard identification and risk mitigation.
- Good communication and leadership skills to guide teams on safety practices.
